Meet Brandon

Max Muscle Colorado Springs is proud to introduce their employee, Brandon Applegate. Brandon recently completed his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification. He is currently training at CrossFit 719 in addition to his work at Max Muscle Sports Nutrition.

“After returning home from attending college in West Virginia, I realized I missed the competitive aspect in my life I was use to having from playing soccer and running track at the collegiate level. I tried CrossFit and for the first time, I finally experienced that competitive edge and mental grit again. CrossFit quickly became a big part of who I am and what I looked forward to everyday. CrossFit completed my love for fitness and passion to help people achieve their goals to be healthier and fit.”

Brandon also just participated in his first CrossFit competition, held at Crossfit 719 in Colorado Springs. There were 5 divisions, Men and Women’s Open, Men and Women’s Masters and Affiliate. Brandon competed in the Men’s Open against twenty other athletes.  Max Muscle was on site sampling EnduroMax and Max ARM to support the athletes.

“With a goal to start doing CrossFit competitively, I decided to enter into the Colorado Springs Area Competition. With anxiety and nervousness building up prior to the day of the event, I made a personal goal to finish in the top half of the competitors based on the participating athletes, the fact that this was my first competition and was fairly new to CrossFit. I was pleased with my performance and achieved my goal. With another competition already in sigh, I am training hard and preparing myself to become a better coach and CrossFitter everyday.”

Come in today to talk to Brandon about his CrossFit workouts and lifestyle!
