Tell us a little about yourself:
My names Mirsad Bektic I was born in Bosnia.
I grew up having to move a lot from country to country before we settled here in the United States.
My mom, my two older brothers and I moved from Bosnia to Italy and from there to Germany so getting used to places was pretty hard as we weren’t in one place for very long.
When moved here I started playing soccer, baseball, football(I sucked so bad),karate and then boxing.
One day I was MMA fights on TV and I knew in my heart that with the right training I could compete at a high level like they were.
From day one my goal was to be the best and I believe that with God, my coaches and team mates I will be one of the best.

If you don’t know it yet, hard work does pay off.
I don’t have much free time but when I do have some I love hanging out with my friends and family.
I just trying to have the best time possible and after my fights you will most likely find me eating sweets.
